IMMA Collective is a relational business development ecosystem for purpose-driven independents and small mission-driven teams.

We help members build a healthier flow of aligned opportunities through relationships, visibility, referrals, and strategic support — not through hustle, cold outreach, or constant self-promotion.

Most things happen on Circle, where members participate in weekly rituals, peer introductions, implementation sessions, and opportunity sharing. We also host live sessions across European and US time zones, plus occasional in-person gatherings.

The goal isn’t to give you more information.
The goal is to help you create more opportunities, more consistently, alongside people who understand the realities of building a purpose-driven business.

IMMA brings together with 10+ years of professional experience — though many are newer to working independently. You don’t need a decade of working for yourself behind you. You need a decade of expertise.

Some members join IMMA after years of professional experience but while they’re still building the foundations of their independent business.

What matters most isn’t how long you’ve been self-employed. It’s whether you have meaningful expertise that others are willing to pay for.

If you’re still figuring out your offer, positioning, pricing, or how to get your first independent clients, we offer strategic guidance, implementation support, and a personalised roadmap to help you build those foundations.

Our Nuture Membership is designed for people who are already operating independently and want accountability, momentum, opportunities, and a trusted peer network to help them sustain and grow their business.

In short: you don’t need years of running a business behind you. You do need expertise, a willingness to take action, and a commitment to building your business intentionally.

Through five connected systems, designed so you build a steady pipeline through relationships rather than hustle or cold outreach.

Referrals. The first thing you do when you join is make yourself easy to refer, so you can activate both your existing network and the IMMA Collective. We run monthly cross-pollination sessions where members get to know each other’s work and open doors.

Opportunities. Over 100 opportunities a month: contracts, RFPs, funding, grants, fellowships. All shared in the Collective. So you don’t have to spend hours searching for them online.

Peer promotion. We believe in peer promotion over self-promotion. We spotlights each other’s work: endorsements, intros, and visibility in rooms you’d never enter alone.

Outreach. We don’t do outreach for you. We help you get the clarity and build the systems, the assets, the templates, and the scripts that make your outreach work.

Clients coming to us. Increasingly, vetted organisations come to IMMA looking for senior, values-aligned independents. When we collect opportunities, we position IMMA as a collective and invite organisations to come directly to us. We connect them with the right member.

We don’t promise clients.

We help you build the relationships, visibility, systems, and confidence that make opportunities more likely to happen.
Our goal isn’t to make you dependent on IMMA for work.
Our goal is to help you build a business that can create opportunities long after your membership ends.

IMMA isn’t a networking group. It isn’t a freelancer marketplace. And it isn’t a community built around endless conversation. It’s a Collective built around creating opportunities together.

Communities are large, open, and chat-focused. Freelancer platforms (Upwork, Fiverr, Toptal) treat you like a profile in a database. IMMA is small, curated, and built around getting clients together.

Three differences that matter:

Vetted on both sides. Members AND the organisations IMMA works with are carefully selected for experience, values, and reciprocity. When we share a member’s work with an organisation, IMMA’s reputation is on the line. That’s why we’re this curated.

Senior peer group. Members have 10+ years of professional experience, though many are newer to working for themselves. You don’t need a decade of working independently behind you. You need a decade of expertise.

The work happens in the room. Weekly sessions where outreach, follow-ups, and proposals get done with peers. Not another Slack channel you’d join and mute. Not a database of profiles waiting to be matched.

If you’re looking for quality over volume, depth over noise, and collaboration over competition, IMMA will feel different from anything else you’ve tried.

From time to time, we also offer more focused journeys for specific business-development challenges. These are separate from Nurture and priced differently depending on the level and type of support.

What we can tell you is that members regularly make their investment back many times over. Sometimes that’s through a single introduction, collaboration, proposal, or client conversation.
